Parish Golf Day

The BOSTALL PARK OPEN GOLF DAY is on Saturday 13th May, the venue is Birchwood Park. I know the date is the 13th, but it could be your day to pick up the Green Jacket!! Players, male or female with ‘honest’ handicaps are invited to be part of an event which has been in the past memorable and no doubt will come up TRUMPS even though we are not in Lahinch, Co. Clare. Hopefully we will have a raffle for the Lourdes trip, so donated prizes would be very welcome. More info later so WATCH THIS SPACE and spread the news. Also, although I don’t drink when I lift the cup it would be good if there was something stronger than red lemonade in it just in case I didn’t win it so some of the strong stuff would be welcome, see you there.

Saturday 29th April – 18.30 Mass

At the end of this Saturday evening Mass there will be a special presentation to Eddie Etheridge. Eddie, a long time parishioner of St Thomas More’s, has completed 50 years in the Knights of St Columba. In addition there will be a presentation to David Goode and Gerry Lamb who have been in the Knights for 25 years.

There will be refreshment in the hall after the Mass to celebrate their years of service in the Knights and all are very welcome to join in.

Feast of St George

Because it falls on Sunday, it is transferred to Monday 24th April, Mass will be at 09.3. Sorry about the time, I tried to get the golf competition time changed but the answer I got from a good English man, St George will understand, Happy feast day to all.
